NEW YORK, NY – February 19, 2009 – Just yesterday Accelerator Advertising, one of the toy industry’s most innovative marketing and advertising firms, returned from auditing and conducting primary research at the American International Toy Fair held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Accelerator's team of strategists and analysts reported a significantly improved outlook among toy marketers who, in general, portrayed the market as coming back around. The upbeat tone was obvious on the showroom floor as buyers, as well as sellers, were once again working deals and sharing optimistic outlooks for the upcoming year.
Accelerator analysts also reported that some of the newest and hottest trends in the industry will be the inclusion of "green" materials in production and packaging, an added emphasis on safe sourcing, and increased offerings in educational and development toys, especially in the infant and toddler categories.
